My current research interests lie at the interface of Astrophysics and Cosmology, in particular on the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB), large scale structure formation in the Universe and reionization process. The study of CMB by COBE, WMAP, and Planck, have already set up the building blocks of Cosmology by measuring the age, content, curvature of the Universe and constrained many other cosmological parameters which are used to describe the several properties of the Universe. Now the question comes what new information CMB can provide us when the next generation low noise and high resolution telescopes start to operate in the next few years? And my research venture starts from that point.

Research interests

  • Observing reionization with future CMB experiments and cross-correlation studies with multiple tracers. 
  • Forecasts and pipeline developing for Line intensity mapping.
  • Secondary anisotropies in CMB generated by kinetic and thermal Sunyev Zeldovich (kSZ and tSZ) effect and lensing. 
  • I am working as a member of  Fred Young Submillimeter Telescope (FYST, previously known as CCAT-prime), Simons Observatory, CMB-S4, and CMB Bharat.
